By accessing or using Lonnova's website, mobile applications, and services (collectively, the "Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

Lonnova provides an appliance management platform that allows users to track appliances, warranties, maintenance schedules, and receive recall alerts. Our Services include:

  • Appliance inventory management
  • Warranty tracking and expiration alerts
  • Maintenance schedule management and reminders
  • Product recall notifications
  • Document storage for manuals and receipts
  • AI-powered troubleshooting assistance
  • Access to service professional network

3. Account Registration

To use certain features of our Services, you must create an account. You agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information to keep it accurate
  • Maintain the security of your password and account
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Beta Program

During our beta period, access to the Services may be limited and provided by invitation only. Beta users acknowledge that:

You represent and warrant that:

  • You own or have rights to the User Content you upload
  • Your User Content does not violate any third-party rights
  • Your User Content is accurate to the best of your knowledge

6. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Services for any illegal purpose
  • Upload malicious code, viruses, or harmful content
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Services
  • Scrape, data mine, or collect user information
  • Impersonate others or misrepresent your affiliation
  • Use the Services to send spam or unsolicited communications
  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations

7. Intellectual Property

The Services, including all content, features, and functionality, are owned by Lonnova and are protected by copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of our Services without our written permission.

8. Third-Party Services and Content

Our Services may integrate with or link to third-party services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third-party services. Third-party integrations include:

  • CPSC recall database for safety alerts
  • Parts marketplace providers
  • Service professional networks

9. Fees and Payment

Some features of our Services may require payment. During the beta period, premium features are provided free of charge. When paid plans are introduced:

  • Fees will be clearly communicated before purchase
  • Subscriptions may renew automatically unless cancelled
  • Refunds will be provided according to our refund policy
  • We may change pricing with reasonable notice

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SERVICES WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, OR SECURE.

Recall information is provided for informational purposes based on publicly available data. We do not guarantee the accuracy or completeness of recall information. Always verify recall information directly with manufacturers or the CPSC.

11. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LONNOVA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES, OR ANY LOSS OF PROFITS OR REVENUES, WHETHER INCURRED DIRECTLY OR INDIRECTLY.

OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIMS ARISING FROM OR RELATED TO THESE TERMS OR THE SERVICES SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID US IN THE TWELVE MONTHS PRECEDING THE CLAIM.

12. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Lonnova, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Services or violation of these Terms.

13. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time for any reason, including violation of these Terms. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us. Upon termination:

  • Your right to use the Services will cease immediately
  • We may delete your account data after a reasonable period
  • Provisions that should survive termination will remain in effect

14. Changes to Terms

We may modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated Terms and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

15. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts located in Delaware.

16. Dispute Resolution

Before filing a claim, you agree to try to resolve disputes informally by contacting us. If we cannot resolve the dispute within 30 days, either party may proceed with formal dispute resolution.

17. General Provisions

  • Entire Agreement: These Terms constitute the entire agreement between you and Lonnova regarding the Services.
  • Severability: If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in effect.
  • Waiver: Our failure to enforce any right does not waive that right.
  • Assignment: You may not assign these Terms without our consent.
